In the beginning, God created Moonrage… Now the band was formless and empty. Silent. And God commanded, “Let there be music!” And he brought together a guitar player and a writer. God called the guitar player “Eric” and the writer “Pat.” Then there was music and God saw that it was good.

And then God commanded, “Let there be percussive sounds to separate note from note.” So Pat called a friend from New York who moved to Boston. God heard these noises and He was pleased. He called the percussive friend “Chris.”

But God saw that the band was not happy. So He commanded, “My music is good, but it is not complete. Let there be a voice to carry the Word.” And so it was that Pat met Tye. Tye sang and there was great rejoicing. Now the band was complete. They played.

Well, it may not have happened exactly that way, but close enough, In fact, the formation of Moonrage can be called a minor miracle. It was a two year ordeal of bringing together people from upstate New York, Colorado and Connecticut – all with widely diverse musical influence. The resulting music is high energy and driving. Experience Moonrage.
